The group originally debuted with 12 members on February 25, 2016. Later that year, in August, 1 more member would be added making the full group of 13 members. The group is known for their cosmic concept of space and celestial themes, with dream-like music, of different genres including pop, dance, and some hip-hop elements among others. Cosmic Girls also has two subunits, WJSN Chocome and WJSN The Black . Currently at the moment, even though the group is not completely disbanded, there are no concrete plans for them to return as of 2024.
