by BLACKPINK was released on August 30, 2017 as the fourth track of their Japanese album BLACKPINK as a b-side rather than a lead, as it previously had been. Teddy was the writer, composer and arrangement while Emyli helped with the lyrics and Won Jin Seo participated in the composition and arrangement of the song.

Stay features members Jennie, Jisoo, Rose, and Lisa at the average age of 20.8 years old.

Composition and Arrangement are also by No2zcat and Lauren Faith. Hannah Yadi, Jorja Douglas, Renee Downer, and Stella Quaresma also took part in the composition.
