BLACKPINK (Japanese EP)  

is BLACKPINK’s first Japanese EP released on August 30, 2017 under the label YGEX. The album is produced by Teddy, Bekuh Boom, Future Bounce, R.Tee, 24, and Choice37. BLACKPINK has 1 lead single and 5 b-sides. Since their last release, it had been 302 days since Square two. This is the group's first Japanese release.

BLACKPINK features members Rose, Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa at the average age of 20.8 years old.

BLACKPINK EP has a total of 6 tracks. The only song that is not included in the list is track #6 as it is an acoustic version of Whistle.

Peaking at #1 on Japanese Oricon Albums, Japanese Hot Albums, and Japanese top Album Sales charts. It also featured on two additional charts within the top 10.

Out of the five songs on the album, Jennie (2 word: 2 time) and Lisa (3 word: 1 time) had the highest count with being number 1 four times. While Rose hit #1 on the highest count twice (2 time).

The five songs earned a total of 1,663.5 points with Boombayah Japanese version earning the highest with 350 points. The Chase  by Hearts2Hearts is the debut single from their single album The Chase. Released on February 24, 2025, the song was written, composed, and arranged by Kenize. Composition and Arrangement are also by No2zcat and Lauren Faith. Hannah Yadi, Jorja Douglas, Renee Downer, and Stella Quaresma also took part in the composition. The Chase features members A-na, Carmen, Ian, Jiwoo, Juun, Stella, Ye-on, and Yuha at the average age of 17.4 years old.
