Born Lim Yoon-a on May 30, 1990 in the year of the Horse. A Gemini, she is of Korean nationality. She joined SM after passing the notorious Saturday open casting auditions in 2002. Yoona is considered the lead dancer, lead rapper, sub-vocalist, visual, and center.
