Whistle (Japanese Version) 

by BLACKPINK was released as a b-side on their first Japanese EP, BLACKPINK as track #2 on August 30, 2017. This version was written, composed, and arranged by Teddy, Bekuh Boom, with Future Bounce participating in composition and arrangement. Lyrics were also written by Sunny Boy and Kim Han-bin.

Whistle features members Lisa, Rose, Jisoo and Jennie at the age of 20.8 years old.

Whistle, the Japanese version, has a total of 371 words with 10.2% (38 words) in Korean, 67.9% (252 words) in English versus 21.8% (81 words) in Japanese. About 16 words (4.3%) sung in unison with 355 words (95.7%) divided between the members. The average was 88.8 words with a standard deviation of 50.6 words and a margin of error of 25.3 words. The Chase  by Hearts2Hearts is the debut single from their single album The Chase. Released on February 24, 2025, the song was written, composed, and arranged by Kenize. Composition and Arrangement are also by No2zcat and Lauren Faith. Hannah Yadi, Jorja Douglas, Renee Downer, and Stella Quaresma also took part in the composition.
