was the first Japanese Lead Single from BLACKPINK released on August 8, 2017. Written, composed, and arranged by Teddy, Bekuh Boom helped with the lyrics and composition, and Sunny Boy participated in the lyrics. It had been 280 days since their last releases, of the Korean Single Playing With Fire & Stay.

Boombayah, the Japanese version, featured members Jennie, Jisoo, Rose, and Lisa at the average age of 20.8 years old.
